Hi! I'm Kelly Egan, a student journalist at Emerson College who will graduate in May of 2028.
In the fall, I will be entering third year at Emerson. There, I am an arts & lifestyle section writer for The Berkeley Beacon and the executive producer for WEBN TV-Boston's Entertainment Show. I have also freelanced for Boston.com. I have a special interest in arts, lifestyle, and entertainment reporting, which I plan to pursue a career in post-grad.
I just recently wrapped up my summer 2026 news internship with Laconia Daily Sun in Laconia, NH, where I worked as a news reporter writing around 8-10 articles per month.
Outside of work and school, I am very invested in popular culture. I love music, specifically Taylor Swift and other pop music artists. I am originally from New Hampshire, so I love everything New England, especially the Red Sox.
